Words have long fascinated me. I wrote my first poem, about grasshoppers and lawnmowers, when I was ten years old.
In my late teens becoming a poet became my deep desire. I spent hours and years tapping away to find my voice, in the company of my similarly obsessed friends, Petar and Jodi. The results can be found here, amongst more prosaic writings. Now I seem to have become something more, or less, than I wanted. I have written many poems, but most of my words have been spent in my role as a teacher, within which I have never been truly at home.
Of the many more books I have written only eight have been published in print
The Elements of Yoga
Dynamic Yoga
Hatha Yoga Breath by Breath
Fifteen Minute Yoga
The Little Book of the Bandhas
Yoga Unveiled
The Power to Choose
Radical Ecology
The first four are now out of print on my request, the second four available in pdf format here, three also in paperback. The last is on its way.
May you be entertained, inspired, provoked, amused, confounded or informed by the words that flow through me as invitations to let go into the deep well of silence from which they come.
