DECEMBER 2024-MAY 2025
Yoga is the embodiment of wholeness. Yoga practice must establish pathways of wholeness from the body to Consciousness. Then the power and wisdom of Consciousness can flow along these pathways into daily life (Ishvarapranidanah). These pathways are established by movement and deepened in stillness. They must activate and integrate all the muscles of the body: motor, structural and respiratory: an integration esoterically known as "the bandhas in the whole body" (Sarvangabandha).
Our Heart of Yoga training will show you how to use movement to sensitise all of your joints, and stillness to integrate all of your muscles. The Teaching Skills Module will show you how to do this for others. The Pranayama modules will provide you with the tools to activate and strengthen the core muscles of your spine, abdomen and throat so that the Heart of Yoga opens effortlessly within the flow of your practice.
No matter what style of yoga you practice or teach, what shapes you use, or sequences you present them in, this training will give you the tools to refine and deepen your own practice so that it becomes the irrevocable fulcrum of a life lived as a gift of peace to the world. It will also show you how to lead others to the same without any need for special skills or extreme abilities, or even familiarity with yoga texts.
